Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ECHO collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the ECHO application, website, and related services.

Overview

Understanding your data

By creating an account or using ECHO, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Service.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, but we may share information with trusted service providers that are necessary to operate ECHO, including hosting, payment, and AI-processing providers.

01

Information We Collect

01 (A)

Account Information

When you create an ECHO account, we may collect your name, email address, and password. Your password is used to authenticate your account and improve security.

01 (B)

Payment and Transaction Information

When you purchase a subscription or make a payment, ECHO uses Razorpay as a payment service provider. Depending on the payment method and transaction, Razorpay may collect your phone number and other transaction-related information required to process the payment.

Payment information submitted through Razorpay is handled according to Razorpay's own privacy practices and policies.

01 (C)

Content Generation Information

ECHO allows you to generate social media posts, advertisements, barcode stickers, and other content. Information, text, product details, descriptions, images, or other content you voluntarily provide may be processed by our AI infrastructure to generate the requested output.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide is lawful and that you have the rights or permissions required to use it.

02

AI Processing and Third-Party AI Services

ECHO uses OpenRouter to route AI-generation requests to applicable AI model providers, including OpenAI models. When you request AI-generated content, the information needed to fulfill that request may be transmitted through OpenRouter to the relevant model provider.

This may include product names, descriptions, marketing information, or other content you choose to provide. ECHO does not intentionally send your ECHO account password to AI model providers as part of normal AI-generation requests.

Because OpenRouter may route requests to different model providers, the data-handling practices of the applicable provider may vary. For this reason, you should avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, or unnecessary personal information into ECHO's AI-generation features.

03

We may use trusted third-party service providers that are necessary for operating ECHO. Depending on the service being used, these providers may process or store information on our behalf.

04 (A)

Hosting and Database — Render

ECHO uses Render for application hosting and database infrastructure. Information associated with your ECHO account may therefore be stored or processed on infrastructure provided by Render, including your name, email address, account information, generated content or history, credits, and other information necessary to operate your account.

04 (D)

Domain — Hostinger

ECHO's website/domain may be registered and managed through Hostinger. The domain-registration process may involve information required for domain registration and management. Such information is handled according to Hostinger's applicable policies and relevant registry requirements.

04 (E)

Legal and Security Disclosures

We may disclose information when required by applicable law, regulation, court order, governmental request, or other valid legal process. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect ECHO, our users, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; address security incidents; or enforce our Terms of Service.

06

Cookies and Local Storage

ECHO does not intentionally use cookies for user tracking or advertising purposes.

ECHO may use your browser's localStorage to save certain UI preferences, such as theme preferences, accent color preferences, shadow or visual preferences, and similar interface settings. These localStorage values are used to remember your preferred appearance and improve your experience.

LocalStorage data is stored on your device by your browser and is separate from your ECHO account database.

07

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information associated with ECHO accounts against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and notifying us if you believe that your account has been accessed without authorization.

08

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, maintain transaction and business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

If you delete your ECHO account, we may delete the account-related information stored in our database, subject to information that we may be required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or other legitimate purposes.

09

Account Deletion and Data Loss

You may request or initiate deletion of your ECHO account where the applicable account functionality allows it. When an account is deleted, information associated with that account may be permanently removed from our database.

Account deletion may result in permanent loss of your account data, generated history, credits, and other account-associated information.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have downloaded, saved, or otherwise backed up any information you wish to retain before deleting your account.

10

Your Content and Information

You retain ownership of content and information that you provide to ECHO, subject to any rights you grant to ECHO that are necessary to operate the Service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, having appropriate rights or permissions to use content you submit, and ensuring that submitted content does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights.

11

Children's Privacy

ECHO is not intentionally designed as a service for children. We do not knowingly seek to collect unnecessary personal information from children. If you are under the age required by applicable law to independently provide consent for processing of your personal data, you should use ECHO only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

12

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access to information associated with your account, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, withdraw consent where applicable, and raise concerns regarding our processing of your information.

To make a privacy-related request, contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section below.

Your continued use of ECHO after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
